David Pastrnak's Take on the Bruins' Loss to the Golden Knights: A Mixed Bag

In a post-game interview, Pastrnak acknowledged the team's mistakes, stating, 'A lot of mistakes today. We had breakdowns that ended up in our net. We had an amazing kill. 'Sway' (Jeremy Swayman) was standing on his head. We have to be better as a team.' He emphasized the positive aspect of their fightback, saying, 'That's pretty much the only positive from tonight's game.'
However, Pastrnak's sentiment wasn't entirely positive, as he also noted the team's defensive lapses. Head coach Marco Sturm shared a similar sentiment, expressing his preference for a more defensive approach, stating, 'That's not us. I don't want to play that (high-scoring) game. I'm a defensive mindset coach, and it starts from there.'
Despite the loss, the Bruins remain focused on their upcoming game against the Colorado Avalanche, scheduled for Saturday at 9 p.m. ET. The team's ability to bounce back and maintain a positive mindset will be crucial as they continue their journey in the NHL.
